A week to HM's Gathering @ Muara Beach
Isnin, 22hb Jun 2009 - Salam & Gud evening.. Less than a week to go for HM's gathering @ Muara Beach. Last week kami (Sis Liya & Hjh Nurul) bincang2 thru MSN regarding HM's Picnic Day this 28th June. So we came up wif these suggestions:
Aturcara: 7.45pagi- HM members yang terpilih datang ke Pantai Muara untuk membooking tempat dan menyediakan tempat penyalaian tarus menyalai (Those selected members are: Bob, Bobby, Radzs & Khair)
8pagi hingga 10pagi- Others HM Family members termasuk tukang masak HM's dgn menu2 yang sudah & balum bermasak(siapa bisai ah?hehe). Start BBQ-ing, Camp-ing & etc.
10.30pagi-11pagi- Brunch (Breakfast + Lunch) di mulakan dan seterusnya main games. Suggested Menu: Mee Halus, BBQ Ayam & Kambing, Sandwiches/Kueh and Oren
Games: 2 teams: Team A & Team B. ikut undian di pantai nanti supaya adil.
(*needs suggestion in games please for adults & kids)
Menu: Mee Hoon Mama, BBQ Chickens & Lambchops, mineral water+ais, And after snacks, sandwiches & kueh.
Others: Needs volunteer to bring spoons, plates, cups and tissue rolls please.
Kem, kerusi & tikar will be brought by BLQ & Famz.

(near toilet/bathroom & Tempat urg berjual)

School Holiday Activities: Swimming...
Ahad, 21hb Jun 2009 - Salam & Gud evening all.. Campur tolak bahagi kali pnya seminggu labih dh cuti sekolah. So macam biasa, time cuti sekolah ani th masa nya Alai Mona kn tidur d rumah bapa. Tapi ia bjanji dh sama Sis Liya kn tidur d rmh nya psl kan belajar Maths, ia 'O' Level this year. Drg Sis Liya andang planning kan mmbawa swimming hari Ahad ani. Then semalam ingati nya lagi..
So tadi ptg around 1.45pm Sis Liya msg gtau, kul 2pm drg ke Stadium. Drg sefamily jln dh sma Alai Mona. Then ard 2pm baru tia drg Alai Lizzie, Bob & Bobby terkinja-kinja mencari apa yg patut d bawa. Iatah nama nya janji Tamilnadu tu..gagagaga.. Kan 3pm baru th sampai d Swimming Pool Stadium. As I expect before "Cuti sekolah ani gerenti mcm pelabuhan ni, bnyk kapal belabuh" hahahaha.. banar eh. Payah kn swimming bh, sana sini cross line ah. Alai Lizzie sja inda swimming, so kaja nya menggambar & surfing sja. Ok jua tu, atleast ada org menggambar.hahaha. Iatah masa d swimming pool Alai Nadirah nda mau2 kn memakai pelampung kakanya, inda batah kaka nya memakai mengusut tia ia kn makai jua..iatah next time bawa kapal pelampung ah..hehehe.. Then ard 4.30pm adang th kami, psl nya makin ramai org masuk ah. ujung2 nya nda g nampak air jelama saja menimbun...lol. Lapas siap mandi, smpat lagi bgambar tu. So pls liat gmbar siapa yg Over di bawah ani.. =)

Khamis, 11hb Jun 2009 - Salam & gud evening all.. Yesterday(10hb Jun) was Alai Lizzie's 24th Birthday.. Tapi Alai Lizzie ani kn blanja makan hari ani sja pasal nya semua available & esuk nya inda jua kanak2 sekolah. Macam biasa, Alai Lizzie, Sis Nina sama mama sibuk2 prepare semua menu untuk malam ani. Menu malam ani simple but delicious eh..hehe.. Fish Mango Mama, Ayam Masak Merah Mama, Sayur Campur Mama. Then after Maghrib drg Bro Blq with Sis Hjh Eyol & Alai Iqa sampai dulu. Inda batah atu Sis Hjh.Liya, hubby & kids(Amal & Nadhirah) lagi sampai.. Meriah eh, bukan jua.. mun udah drg Alai Amal bjumpa Alai Waqi, iatah meriah tu dgn gauk2nya..Balum lagi drg Alai Eva & Alai Iqa tu..hehe..
Drg Bro Shaifol with Sis Memie & Kids yang balum sampai ani. c-Rads andang awal dh ia gtau ia akhir k rumah psl rumah ngangah nya ada function jua. Boring jua c-Rads nada ah. bukan boring apa, boring ia saja kn kana tnya..hehe. Around 7.30pm, Bro Blq membaca doa kesyukuran bagi memberkati majlis. (Tapi behind the scene, actually Alai Lizzie inda tau ada suprised Cake untuk nya.) Sementara atu, kami sama Sis Hjh Liya menyediakan kek yang di tempah di Mum's by Bro Blq & Sis Hjh Eyol. Thanks. Then before kan makan tarus kami mmbawa masuk then 'suprise' kan Alai Lizzie.. Tkinjat x ah..hahaha.
Macam biasa jua, masa makan ani jua bgambar ramai with 'em. Alai Iqa inda mau2 kan makan kek ah, bnyk makan nya eh.hehe. Inda batah masa makan drg Bro Shaifol with Sis Memie & Kids pun baru smpai. Then c-Rads pun datang jua.. Riuh tarus eh pasal ia akhir ah..hehehe.. Around 10pm, before drg kan balik sampat jua semua sibuk2 mliat TV3 drama bersiri Kliwon. Siuk jua mliat ramai2 ah.

Rabu, 10hb Jun 2009 – Salam & Gud Evening all.. Today is Lizzie HM 24th Birthday. Iatah bday girl ani kekanyangan th jua, pagi patang kana blanja makan d ofis nya. Then masa d Ofis nya, ia kna suprised bday sama Abg Mazlan(cousin) kelurusan hampir tarikh(08hb Jun). So Alai Lizzie decided kn blanja makan d rumah esuk malam pasal esuk nya kanak2 inda sekolah. So attention to HM Famz untuk datang esuk malam(khamis malam).. Function start after Isyak, after 8pm, before Subuh, before 12am. So hopefully yg d invited, Jangan "Janji Jepun" ah macam aku..toink.. birthday girl blanja x ah..

Celebrated bday with friends lunch time at Ceri Cafe
Eva & Emielda Children's Day Celebration
Sabtu, 6hb Jun 2009 – Salam & Gud evening all.. Today Eva n Mielda celebrated their “Children’s day” celebration at their school (Fairview School & Fairview Montessori International School). The grand awards were on “Best Dress” based on class level.
Eva is in her Year 3 whilst Emielda in Advanced-casa class.
Surprised ! Surprised ! Eva was awarded for her best dress as she dressed-up as ‘Cinderella’. Emielda too. But unluckily her best buddy, Alya beated her. No luck, Miel…. But that wasn’t the point; the thing was the children were happy as they gathered with their teachers with their own costume. Eva n Miel brought chocolate roll cakes for this celebration; which were bought the night before at “bit…bit” as Qaseh mumbling…eheh..
Oh yeah.. Eva was also awarded “The BEST story-teller” for her level….. Pintar anak mummy. Congratz Dear… ;-) Okey, I bet not many people aware of Montessori Method in learning, so pupils, read along……
The Montessori Method is a child-centered, alternative educational method based on the child development theories originated by Italian educator Maria Montessori (1870–1952) in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries Its method of education is characterized by emphasizing self-directed activity, on the part of the child, and clinical observation, on the part of the teacher— to stress the importance of adapting the child’s learning environment to his or her development level, and the role of physical activity in the child’s absorbing abstract concepts and learning practical skills. The use of auto-didactic (self-correcting) equipment for introducing and learning concepts, and reading taught reading via phonics and whole language, the comparative benefits of which are presently being recognized.
One distinguishing feature of the Montessori method, at the pre-school age, is that children direct their own learning, choosing among the sections of a well-structured and stocked classroom, the curriculum including Practical Life (fine and gross motor skills), Sensorial (senses and brain), Language, Mathematics, Geography, Science, and Art. The teacher’s role is to introduce children to materials, and then remain a “silent presence” in the classroom. Montessori schools pride themselves on seeing and meeting the student’s personality and intellectual needs, rather than viewing them as part of a classroom process. The students are encouraged to teach and to help each other.
A 2006 study published in the journal "Science" concluded that Montessori students (at ages 5 and 12) performed better than control students who had lost the random computerized lottery to go to Montessori in prior years and instead went to a variety of different conventional schools. This better performance was obtained in a variety of areas, including not only traditional academic areas such as language and math, but in social skills as well (though by age 12 academic benefits had largely disappeared)
On several dimensions, children at a public inner city Montessori school had superior outcomes relative to a sample of Montessori applicants who, because of a random lottery, attended other schools. By the end of kindergarten, the Montessori children performed better on standardized tests of reading and math, engaged in positive interaction on the playground more, and showed advanced social cognition and executive control more. They also showed more concern for fairness and justice. At the end of elementary school, Montessori children wrote more creative essays with more complex sentence structures, selected more positive responses to social dilemmas, and reported feeling more of a sense of community at their school….

Iqa 1st tyme @ Funland..
Isnin, 1hb Jun 2009: Salam & gud morning all.. This is the story about iqa's 1st tyme @ Funland, Hua Ho Petani Mall, Tutong. Actually kami kan bawa iya ke ABDB's Funfair on the 31st May. but since we were out movie-ing with Liz, Khair & Zamie liat ceta "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2" until 3.30pm pas tu nyambung makan lagi arh CA Mohammad Yayasan so ter"extend" tah masa atu till 4.30pm. Kan ke Funfair atu nda lagi sampat cuz abisnya pkl 5ptg aja. so sia-siapun lah iqa....
The next day nya, inda jua kami sampai hati cuz kami udah berjanji arah iqa yang kami kan bawa iya arah somewhere fun. kami mesti jua kotakan apa yg kami janjihi kdia. Moral: walaupun iqa inda paham apa maksud janji, setiap janji mesti di tunaikan semusabah mungkin (di didik dari damit lah). anyhow, so I suggested to Bro BLQ bawa iqa ke Huo Ho Funland di Tutong. lagipun we both inda pernah ke sana.
So siap kami awal dalam pkl 11.30pagi then Hubby BLQ tais liur kan makan Laksa Johor arah Amanah Harith di Jerudong. Again we both inda pernah makan sana. sampai sana, ada lunch buffet..macam nyaman jua..so nyawang tah makan buffet. best~~ lapas smbyg jumaat, off we went to Tutong. Fast-forward, sampai kami ke Funland. Pre-entry is $5 tapi since iqa is still a baby so they let her in for free. yaay~ mula2 iqa inda mau main- alum charging nya urg. paksa tah mummynya and babahnya ikut-ikutan. apa lagi, kami pun indulged our "inner child". akhirnya mau jua iqa main and she really had fun.
Di Funland ani macam-macam ada. Ada giant bouncer, tempat main trampouline (lurus kah my spelling), sea of balls, Little Tyke's Houses and cars, swings, jungkat2(wah~ classic sungguh perkataan itu), etc. macam mini JP. biasalah seisi photography pun bermula, yang labih parents iqa lah.. Abis dari Funland, singgah ke Lamunin, rumah Datuk iqa, joining other HM Famz members (Mom-in-law HR, Shaifol & Famz, Liz, Khair, Bobby & Mona) untuk menikmati Hi-Tea ala Kampong style. Menunya: tea "o", tea tarik, cucur pisang and cucur udang perisa tomyam (special blended by Liz Hm herself if i'm not mistaken). nyumz~
